Mekong River Fruit Party

Ok, I will be flying off to Vietnam in less than 10 hours. But before that, I would like to leave a few message.

To 'Team Waccana', have fun in Malaysia! Please also portray a good image of Singaporeans, Singaporean Buddhist youths and leaders of Singapore Buddhist Mission (Youth). Learn as much as you can, and make good spiritual friends from across the causeway. Do take photos, write down notes and come back and share with us. Most importantly, ensure that everyone is behaving well and in accordance to the 5 Precepts. Speak and behave with mindfulness too!

To Team Camp Ehi-Passiko. It's the last dash to the finish line. We have come so far this year. So many obstacles but hey, we've done well thus far. And this camp is really going to be another milestone, helmed by the new generation and the last I heard, we have ore than 80 campers! It's really going on well and I hope you guys strive on with your best and of course, in accordance to what Buddha will do. Remember, the future is in your hands at the very right moment, NOW, is the most important time of your life. Treat one another as a family, guide and help each other as we put up a great camp and introduced Buddhism into the lives of others.

Most importantly a Buddhist youths, let us not forget what an impactful world leader the Buddha is. He has given us a treasure of truth, widom and compassion. Don't let this chance fade away so easily. Always be reminded that time and tide waits for no man. We have the gift of Dhamma present right in front of us. To strive and work heard earnestly. Practice the 5 precepts first, observe you mind next and be inspired by the Buddha-Dhamma. We can all be happy youths, but it is up to us on how we want to live our life and when we will eventually discover our world.

May the Blessings of the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha be with all of you.

Remember, 'What would Buddha do?'
