Kalyāṇa-mittatā (Pali; Skt.: -mitratā) is a Buddhist concept of "spiritual friendship" within Buddhist community life, applicable to both monastic and householder relationships. One involved in such a relationship is known as a "good friend," "virtuous friend," "noble friend" or "admirable friend" (kalyāṇa-mitta, -mitra).

365 Grateful

Reaching Jhana

Probably the only Buddhist rock band in Singapore, Reaching Jhana (still reaching, not there yet), our resident band performs their original compositions, Buddhist Boy and Words of Wisdom at our 15th Anniversary concert.

The initiation of the SBM Youth's 15th Anniversary Concert and Awards Night. Original composition by Bro. Daniel Yeo. Performed by Bro. Kerwin Kwek (guitars) and Sis Melody Sim and Sis Amanda Low (vocals).


Featuring the fusion of East, West and African instruments, an instrumental rendition of Endless Love from the OST of The Myth. Performed by Bro. Larry Ho, Bro Kok Xurong and Bro Shaun Chow.
