Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is highly popular with many Buddhists, especially the Chinese. Sometimes I think about the close affinity this Bodhisattva has with many people. Avalokitesvara, with His great compassion for all sentient beings must have in some ways or another, made an impact in the lives of so many people.
I love this song by Andy Lau. If you will take a little bit of time and be patient and look through the lyrics, you will find it so beautiful and meaningful that it brings a comfort to your heart.
Avalokitesvara, or the Lord Who Hear the Cries of the World, is a highly compassionate Bodhisattva, who delay His entry into Nirvana so as to remain in this world and to help all sentient beings. May you, dear friend have the affinity with Guanshiyin Pusa one day.
