Master Sheng-yen

One of the most highly cultivated and well-praised Buddhist masters of our time, Master Sheng-yen of Dharma Drum Mountain has passed away into Nibbanic Bliss at the age of 79 years old.


May Master be guided to the highest bliss and may his lgeacy continue to inspire and develop all sentient beings for the better.

The founder of Dharma Drum Mountain Venerable Master Sheng Yen passed into Nibbanic Bliss on the 3rd Feb 2009.

For those who have been touched by Venerable Sheng Yen's books, please pray that Venerable Sir will return to teach the Dhamma and to lead sentient beings towards Enlightenment.
